Me and my husband decided it was time to sign up for long term care insurance so that we could have home health aides paid for before we get medicaid.

My husband has health issues. Even so a long term care insurance policy for the two of us should only cost $3,000 a year. We live a simple life and that's what we can afford to pay.

The agent said he got a special deal if we agree to sign up this week. He shows us a proposal for a disability policy for my husband and all we have to pay is $25,000 a year. Twisted Evil

Only $25,000 a year. Banging head

What was the special deal? Scratching Head

I also was told it won't be a problem but then got an outrageous price. There was also a clause that they won't pay if you got services out of the US. I plan on retiring to Israel so that won't work for me.
Sometimes I think the whole long term policies are a rip off But other people think they are great.
