Hi, I'd love some advice on how to make my babies bedtime earlier. I want to put her to sleep and then have some time to myself in the evenings.im not sure if that's realistic though.
I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong with her general schedule. Here is roughly her schedule, obviously it varies somewhat from day to day.
Morning Wakeup: 8, feeding.
Morning nap:10 ( abt 1 1/2 or 2 hrs after wakeup.)
Wakeup: 12, feeding
Afternoon nap: 2:00
Wakeup: 3:30, feeding
Evening nap: 5:30 (I've tried to eliminate this and schlep her out by putting her in at seven but she inevitably wakes up an hr or two later..)
Wakeup: 7,feeding.
After this I keep her up, give her a bath at around 10 and feed again. She eventually after much difficulty ( she won't take a pacifier and if she falls asleep in me from nursing I make sure to burp her which wakes her up, otherwise she wakes up from the burp, so she has to fall asleep herself..)goes to sleep at abt 11:00/ 11:30
Wat am I doing wrong??
I rly appreciate any wise advice, as I know ur all busy and this is kinda long.
Tia!!

If possible, I would push the second nap off by half an hour to an hour. And absolutely eliminate the third nap- there is really no other way to get her in bed by seven. Expect her to treat 7:00 bedtime like a nap for a few days- just keep her in nighttime mode and help her get back to sleep. She'll adjust to the new schedule.

You are allowed to wake up from nap in order to protect the next nap.
One thing you can do,
If you put baby down at 5:30, wake baby at 6:15. Start bedtime routine at 7:00 and put to sleep at 8:00.
Another thing,
Also I would shorten the first nap. Put down at 10 and wake up at 11:30. Put back down at 1:00/1:30.
