Has anyone had success with those adds in ami/binah that say if you sign up with them they will register you for credit cards and then cancel them. They apparently sell the miles and give you a cut. The adds say you can make money on them. Does anyone know anything good or bad about this?

I remember Dan from DansDeals had a post strongly advising against getting involved with them. Maybe somebody else can post the link. Either way, there's nothing they can do that you can't do yourself, which will leave you more money in your bank account, and make sure that nothing questionable gets associated with your credit report.

Repeatedly opening and then closing credit card accounts, whether you do it yourself or through a third party, will adversely affect your credit score, and the info stays there for something like seven years.
If that weren't enough, the whole thing sounds like an excellent way to put all your financial information right in the hands of scammers. Why should hey go phishing for it when you will hand it to them on a silver platter?

DON'T do this .. AMEX and other companies track it. And wonder why there are so many Jewish sounding names from one zip code suddenly canceling.. ITS a big CHILUL HASHEM.....
