hi
we live in eretz yisroel and I would like to my own cream cheese. can I use homemade cream cheese in a recipe that calls for whipped cream cheese? should I blend the cream cheese first before making the cheesecake? if anyone has any experience with this I would greatly appreciate it
thank you

Yes, use your own. We just drip sheep yogurt to make a nice (pure) cream cheese. If the recipe calls for whipped, so try whipping it up.

Go to the dairy section and look around. You'll see goat and sheep yogurts. They have pictures of a goat or sheep on the container. The sheep yogurt we buy comes in a large brown container. The best yogurt you'll ever taste, and it makes a fantastic cream cheese if you drain off the whey.
