This recipe is great. It will taste slightly different if you use a different wine every time. I dont have amounts of anything, but I was told the trick for a french roast is a low temp.
Brown meat on stove top and transfer to pan. Saute onion and garlic and place ontop of roast.
Spice meat according to taste. Pour some wine and chicken soup (can skip if you dont have soup) ontop.
Cover pan.
Bake on 300 for 3 hours. Slice when cold and reheat to serve.
