I noticed that Gold's Sweet & Sour Cantonese Duck sauce tastes more spicy and the texture is much thicker and doesn't flow as easily. It does not taste sweet and tastes bad. Did they change their recipe?

How interesting. I noticed the opposite, it seemed like they forgot to put in any spices and it was too sweet. It tasted like apricot jam to us.

I found it runny for pesach. Thought they forgot to add any starch. I guess quality control is not a strong suit if theirs.

We didn't taste it yet, but it's definitely a different color and texture.

I found the same thing!!! Around Pesach time I bought "Dip 'n Joy" sweet and sour chicken sauce, and my kids loved it, so I have been buying that ever since. Sorry Golds ...
