Does anyone have a good recipe for a dark turkey roast? It is wrapped in netting and doesn't have skin on it
It is about 3 lbs. How long does it need to roast?

garlic powder
onion powder
paprika
salt
pepper (cayenne if u like spicy)
bit of oil
abt 3 tbsp of duck sauce
mix all together and smear on turkey
I think bake covered on 350 for abt 2 hr- not sure
I have also done a honey mustard one but dont rem the recipe. its basically honey and mustard with garlic powder and then u pour white wine in the pan

I do something very similar and then slice when cool. Since turkey slices can dry out when reheated, I always dump some extra duck sauce in the pan prior to warming up, completely covering the sliced turkey. This helps for gravy, since turkey roasts don't usually yield that much liquid. Enjoy!
