I accidentally left raw chicken out of the fridge. I would say it was out altogether between 2 and 2 1/2 hours.
Can I still bake it and eat it?
I hope the answer is yes because it was all breaded and ready to go, and I prepared double the amount I usually do so I can freeze and use next week.

I would smell it. If it smells okay I would use it. I don't think it was that long. Was the kitchen very hot or are you talking about room temperature at night, which I think would be alright.

I don't think 2 hours is too long - unless your kitchen was especially hot.

Thanks, that's a relief. I really thought I would have to chuck it.
My kitchen wasn't hot at all.
