Hi all - I'm looking for your opinions, I'm really in a quandary. I currently am an office manager for a local hospital, from 9:00AM - 1:00Pm. In the afternoons I work from home doing computer work for various clients. Today my department's manager offered me to work for a different department between 1:00 - 5:00PM. My benefits would then be paid for, I'd get more vacation time. I asked if the pay would be more, she said no, it would be the same hourly rate. I told her I'd be giving up my afternoon job, which pays more (not really true, if I take the benefits into account). She said she'd ask HR. I think a full time position should pay more than a part time position, shouldn't it? What do you all think? Thanks!

really depends what your benefits situation is now. you'd have to sit down and actually do the math, taking into account childcare cost etc
