2 months later. if I can get it for real cheap I'll find places/arrangements for the kids. my son's school needs 2 weeks notice for a bus change and they don't allow temporary changes so he is the complicated one. Thats the main reason I couldn't go last year.

What's the entertainment there? Is there special programming, entertainment, speakers, crafts? What's the crowd like?

Hi: I am the one trying to organize a group for the retreat.

I will post the flier from last year....it looks like fun. Crafts, games, aerobics, fitness room/pool open, kumsitz, inspirational speaker, panel discussion, etc....

The crowd is definitely mostly chassidish. I am not chassidish. So far, two people pmed me about coming. One woman asked about a bus from Flatbush, so I am guessing she is not chassidish either. Smile

PM me if you are interested in joining a group. The deadline for the discount is the Wednesday after Sukkos.

I heard if u were there last year and get a group of 5 people to come this year, u get it for free!

Is everyone ready to RETREAT?? YAY! After a long Tishrei of cooking, cleaning, watching my kids, etc....I am ready for a vacation!

As of now, we have 3 people... 30% off. A bunch of others emailed or PMed me that they're interested, but did not commit.

Here is what I am going to do: I will (bli neder) call tomorrow to register myself, and let the organizer there (at the hotel) know that more people will be joining my "group." Then, I will be in touch with all of you about what to tell the organizer when you call to book.

Please let me know when emailing me if you are actually committing to signing up, or you can only sign up "on condition" (ie- on condition you can find a roommate, on condition we get 40% off, etc....
