I upload to York once a year when they have ยข3 per print or free shipping. I'm happy with their quality and is cheapest for me since I have tons of pictures

Do any businesses actually develop film any more, as opposed to printing digital images? I thought film photography died once Eastman Kodak went under.

Check their website every other day or maybe sign up for emails. You can first upload pics and save in your account to develop whenever you want. Check out shutterfly.com they also have good prices and store your info

Kodak hasn't gone under, it filed for bankruptcy in 2012 and was done the following year. It spun off the film business to a separate company, Kodak Alaris and the main company concentrates on digital photography. Many of Kodak's competitors also still make film. And you can still get film developed.
Although I wonder if when someone says today that they're going to develop pictures if they actually mean that, or they want to make prints of digital photos. Like some people still "dial" phones that have keypads.

where? dh found some exposed rolls of film from the year 1 that he never got around to developing. I'd be amazed if they're still any good but I may be worth trying one roll just in case.

I assume Adorama also develops film.
If you are not local, give them a call to find out about mailing it in.
