It's been out of print for TWENTY years, according to OP. That's way too far to be excusable for too lazy or didn't update curriculum. How do you not change anything about a curriculum for TWENTY years? Particularly one based on what appears to be a regular (likely very good, but you know what I mean) novel and not universal timeless classics? I mean I can understand not updating your Shakespeare unit much but even for that "not at all" would seem a bit sad.

It was published 20 years ago, but I don't know when it actually went out of print. I thought the OP's daughter chose to use this for a report (on living with a special needs sibling perhaps) and not that this is the book the school said everyone must write a report on.
