I have carrots and celery that I need to use up. I don't have any onions or garlic, so I'm not sure how to even start because all the soups I know how to make start with frying onions and garlic together. I don't want to use lentils.
I do have green beans, potatoes, diced tomatoes, and corn, so would all of that plus carrots and celery be weird, or would it work? How do I spice it? (I do have powdered garlic, plus a whole bunch of other spices.)
Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'm of the opinion that any soup can work!
I would start with frying some celery and then adding the other vegetables.
Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. If you want a tomato-based soup then add the tomatoes with some extra tomato soup and maybe sugar if needed. If you have a can of baked beans in tomato sauce I would add that too.
For future, you can chop up some onions and freeze them to use for future soups.
