I want to get a water cooler as a gift for my mom. She has many grandchildren and I'm afraid that the kids will just press the bottom and make a mess. Is there any company/model that you can lock the buttons or switch off the machine that kids shouldn't be able to make a puddle of water?

the top of the nozzle screws off and you can get a new top that has a lock on it (like the lock for a hot water spigot.) You can get it from the company that sold it to you for less than $10. My son is into everything and he figured out how to use it since he was 2. But if he was only with the water cooler once a week or once a month, not on a daily basis, he probably wouldn't have figured it out so quickly.

The nozzles should all be removable. As another poster pointed out, there are locks available for the nozzle. Nozzle really isn't the right word, but I'm not sure what to call it!
