I wear black all the time, because it makes me look slimmer. So I suggest you rethink this policy, thx.

One of my friends posted her wedding pics on fb. Each bridesmaid wore a dress in another colour of the rainbow. It looked beautiful and colourful and added advantage each person could wear the colour that suits them.

Can I come if I dress up in my indian sari? Complete with authentic gold jewellery and an elaborate tie dye headwrap?

I'll bring my own alcohol and teach everyone barefoot traditional South Indian dancing!

And leave all diamond jewellery at home! ;-)

Let the young couple do what they want, just make it special and full of love and simcha. Sometimes I think the fewer shticky trappings the more actual enjoyment everyone has.
