I would like to buy a nice bris outfit for the baby.
Something knitted (or wintering), with a hat, and white of course.

How much should I expect to pay for such an outfit.
That the baby will wear 1 time.

Please recommend me a place (not overly expensive) to shop in Brooklyn.

Someone recommended Century 21.

I am open to on line shopping, especially if it makes life easier.

There are gmachim for such outfits (particularly as they are only worn one time and are not cheap...)

Try Wonderland on 13th Ave - around 53rd Street. They should have. (Maybe call first to make sure)

I got an outfit for my son's bris that was originally from Wonderland. I don't remember exactly how much she said it was, but it was for sure more than $100!

Thanks for the info.

I want to purchase the outfit, first grandson.

What does the baby usually use? Knitted or cotton? 1 piece or 2?

If I can purchase on line it would be better, as I am not close to BP.

OP here is this what is usually used, or something more ornate.
I don't want it to be too girly.

My baby wore this last week for his bris:
http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/.....00022

It's the white and blue gown that says "little love."
I put a bib on him to cover the words.
I like the gowns bc the mohel could just raise it, do the bris, and lower it.
I put a hat on him knitted by a holocaust survivor.

After the mohel prepped him, you can't really see much of what he's wearing.

I know it's nothing like what you're looking for, but just thought I'd provide another perspective Smile

Maybe this one instead? (I'm in my phone, can't see such detail, so not for sure, but maybe)

You would want something that the pants come off so the baby can stay partially dressed...

Op here
Is it better 2 pieces?
I've always seen babies in 1 piece
Also, I'm having a hard time finding newborn size
0-3 is months going to be HUGE on a newborn

I have gotten one pieces with snaps by the legs from the gmach for my sons brissim. the mohel just opens it and flips it over the baby when he preps him and flips it back down (still open) once the diaper is reclosed. after the bris and the baby is checked then I can snap it up again without disturbing the baby- vs pants which would prob be harder to get on. the outfit you posted looks pretty typical for a bris outfit IMO.
