Fall tones: Orange, brick, ivory, gold, russet, hunter green, olive green, avocado green, camel, sand, caramel, honey and tan will all work easily with brown and beige. navy blue and cranberry with beige are a fairly classic color combo, too, though they don't work quite as well if brown is also in the picture.

I think almost anything will work! It depends what you like and what kind of tone you want. I'd do accents in dark and light shades of the same color, not two different colors. Like if you're looking for accent pillows to put on a brown couch, you could do some a darker green and some a lighter green. Or some a darker blue and some a lighter blue. Or red, some nice deep reds could be very pretty with brown and beige.

Shades of pink and teal always look fresh with browns, especially in graphic prints. Metallic gold lamps will keep it from feeling too cold and will ground the room. Start with the rug, and work your way up from there. Trying to get a rug to match anything else is nearly impossible, and the rug is the visual anchor to your space.

For more palate inspiration, just go to Google Images and type in your color choices followed by the word "rug".

If you want bright and pop -- turquoises go well
If you want a warmer and richer look -- I like the burgundy family
