When my adult married kids were toddlers my ped never offered/gave the flu shot. My daughter told me last week that her 14 month old baby got half a flu shot that day. Going back in a month for the next one. Am I the only one that thinks this is completely over the top? I understand giving shots for the dangerous diseases but flu? OK I know pple end up hospitalized with the flu every year but for the most part its an illness that u can recover from. Chicken pox too. Never given when my children were babies. Is this flu shot a common thing everywhere? Btw she lives in Israel.
