Help me make my shoulder length wig cool

Hi Y'all
I have a short shoulder length wig.
It was never styled.
I have a squarish face. Sharp features, light complexion, very dark hair.
I need good ideas to make it look more cool, less chassidish/very yeshivish.
what kind of cut, dye, or accessory can help me?
p.s. - I love little braides and usually stay away from bangs.
specific suggestions with pics will earn you more points.

this one would be a good example of something that appeals to me
the first one was too short and the second simply not my style
how can I get that color effect if my wig is dark brown.

I am not sure about color, you would have to go to.some1 who is an expert in dying sheitel. If you are in Ny, I think best place to.go and do highlights is shevy, the did an awesome job with mine. Also, this picture does look good, but I'd depends on how good of a quality sheitel you have , your sheitel May not look good in this style. Also:) google dini wigs, in their summer and short style collections they have good images, I just can't paste them . Recently I got a new sheitel, so I know.how hard it is to find a.good.style.

If the hair moves correctly it can look great.

I find for a shorter sheitle - if it is styled and cut well it can look amazing and play up facial features in ways that long sheitels cannot. You just need an amazing stylist to create it.

Coloring makes a big difference too. You can ombré it, frost the tips etc

Not sure that style would work for someone with a square face, see if you can try on something like it before you cut it.
