I got this great laptop from my bro. worked great& fast. Recently, it got soooo slow - every page loading. I got a call from wiztechassist claiming they see bad files invading my system. I dunno if legit. sorry - typing w 1 hand...
what can I do to speed it up..?? tia...

While I can't tell you for sure what is wrong with it, I can tell you that the phone call was definitely NOT legit.
You should scan for spyware, adware and do a virus scan.

Install kasparsky or PC doctor and uninstall every pgm you don't absolutely need and see what happens
