What is the going rate for a full time babysitter for 1 baby about 45-50 hours a week? Location is 5 towns/far rockaway area.

Its 10 an hour but if you are using her for many hours you can offer a weekly salary and pay half the weekly rate when you ho on vacation and pay less per hour

in the 5 towns I am currently paying 12 an hour for someone in my home. it's part time though. I don't imagine it would really be any different for full time. she is english speaking and does light housework as well. I've heard of anything from 10-20. depends on the person, how many kids etc
