I come from a mixed chasidish background is this place okay for me? I dont drive but consider to.

Yes that's where I live. You'll find all types here - chassidish, sephardic, litvish, yeshivish, etc. It's a nice neighborhood. There is a grocery nearby, but it's still hard to manage without driving, so you may want to learn to do that.
