Hi,
We're looking for a Chinese restaurant (not sushi, real Chinese) in Yerushalayim with Mehadrin hechsher. Any recommendations?
Also looking for a place to buy KFC-style fried chicken - doesn't have to be a restaurant, takeout is also fine.
Thanks!!

For Chinese - I have never eaten there, but there is a place called La Casa. Address is Yaakov Meir 12 in Geulah.

It would be odd to call a Chinese restaurant "La Casa".
There's Sheyan at the Rehavia windmill. I happen to think it's bland and sweet, but some people like it.
http://www.sheyan.rest-e.co.il/
There's also Corosin at Center1. Not exacty authentic; more like Asian-inspired.
Both thse places also have sushi, but you don't have to order it.
I don't like these places, so I don't know if my info is up-to-date (they might not be around anymore).

Sheyan and Corosin are both still around. There is also a Corosin in the food court in Malcha Mall.
There is a Japanese/ pan-Asian restarant called Ryu in Emek Refaim. Not exactly Chinese but similar. Ryu and Sheyan are both on the expensive side. Corosin is much cheaper but also not truly comparable to the type of Kosher Chinese food you find in the U.S.

Not sure -- it's definitely mehadrin but may be Rabbanut Yerushalayim mehadrin. You can get their number of the eluna website and call them directly.
In general it is a good idea to call any place first and ask what the hechser is, as these things do change. Eluna is a good resource for restaurant ideas in general, but don't count on what they say regarding hechsherim -- call the place directly.

Are you bumping because you are looking for a KFC-type place or a Chinese place?
