Maple Lanes is gone. We usually go to Shell Lanes and always have a good time.

Strike 10 lanes - near kings Plaza (mill basin). Kosher pizza store down the block.

Shell lanes is more subdued. I haven't been there in the past couple of years, but any time I've ever been there it's been mostly older adults who are in leagues or just bowl competitively with their friends on weekends. Like a working class old-school Brooklyn crowd.

Strike 10 gets a lot more kids and teenagers and is definitely louder. I think a good time could be had at either place though.

Depending on where in BP, Shell Lanes isn't far - it's near McDonald Ave. between X and Y.

Wherever you choose, call before you go! Sometimes there are leagues or groups or the lanes are all full.

There is also one run down one on 5th and 37th definitely closest to (some parts of) Boro park.
Similar 'ambience' to Shell.
