Did anyone ever hear/use Rabbi Schwartz in Williamsburg? He is an educational consultant. What was your experience with him? How much was the cost for meeting him? TIA

I went to him like six yrs ago with my son. One thing I didn't like about him is that he is soso bz that u can never get to him afterwards for a question or follow up. Also, that he doesn't write up a report. Maybe if I wld request one before he evaluated my son he wld do it. From a relative I heard then that he only writes Hebrew reports which doesn't help much for Someone like me that doesn't speak or read Hebrew. But took her months to get her report. Otherwise he is a very knowledgable man. With many yrs of experience and knows his work very well.

Thank you amother! Do you remember the cost? If he can't follow up after, was it worth it? Did he guide you correctly (send you somewhere, treat your child, etc)? Or was it just another "eval"?

That is way too much for me to remember. But I do remember clearly that he was to the expensive side. So much passed since then that I can't recall exactly. Also depends what issues ur dealing with. I know a boy that was 10 or 11 yrs when he evaluated him, he suggested to reteach him Kriah, and speech and language for his expressing issues. That boy went a very long way. He is now around 16 or 17 and learns in a top notch yeshiva. And when he was evaluated he barely knew his gemura.

For my son he recommended OT which was very helpful. I never went back to him. Wasn't necessary for me to go back. But that boy with the Kriah issue he did see more than once.
