I am staying in new York, and only have two days to see the city. What sites should I prioritize, and how do I get around?

You can't even see a tiny sliver of what NYC has to offer in only 2 days, s you might aswell priorituze according to what YOU like to do. Art? History? Outdoor activities (what time of year?)? Architecture?

In what part of NYC are you staying?

Are you alone? With kids? If so, what ages?

Getting around - the subway is efficient and should take you where you want to go. What to do - it really depends on who's coming and what you enjoy. If you want to see what secular NYC is famous for, go to the top of the Empire State Building, go to the Met, go see the Statue of Liberty, visit the 9/11 Museum, ice skate in Central Park or Rockefeller Center, walk through Times Square and Toys R Us there. If you want to see Jewish sites and activities, those are in Brooklyn. If you're bringing kids, that can also change things.

Why don't you go on a HOP ON HOP OFF bus. It goes all around Manhattan and when you see something you want to explore, you hop off, then you hop on the next charter bus.
