I have around 11,000 starwood points and lookingto suprise my DH for a romantic getaway it has to be in NYC bec we need to be close to the kids who are going to be babysat by mom. any reccs? and also a small activity we can do in city as well. I do not mind spending a little extra with my points but I do. ot want a dumpy place like a 4 points sheraton

I've stayed in the W Hoboken. Its a cool place, 4 star, clean, upgraded rooms and not far from the city. You can do an activity in Manhattan and then go to Hoboken.
