I am sick and tired of my Braun smelling from that overheating smell, when I use it for extended periods, like beating up the mixture for Strawbery Sorbet, which has to whip for 15 minutes (it smells after 5 minutes). Am I the only one that has this problem?

Are you using a food proc. for something that should be done in a blender or stand mixers? My guess is that the machine is not meant to do that.

the motor probably can't handle all that work ... you may need to buy something different ... especially if it is going to konk ... you should be prepared ...
