So my teenage daughters inform me that I should be wearing opaque tights to weddings. Really? That seems so dressed down to me.
What do people think? Do you see people in opaque tights with their chassunah outfits? I have a close family member's wedding, and I have a really nice dress. I think opaque is weird for a dressed up occasion, but maybe I'm behind the times?

I feel the same way, but opaque is what is in style now........

Was recently at a wedding and every single woman was wearing black tights.
It can look very classy depending on which outfit you wear it with.

If you want to be in style wear black tights. If you don't care, do whatever you want.

Im repeating this again and again, the overall look has to be appealing, yes in the winter black tights are more common. You could even make a white skirt work with black tights nowadays. There are no 'rules' anymore.
But to answer your actual question, you could wear black to a wedding and look elegant and not dressed down.
