For most of us, the food we eat over Pesach is a drastic change from the rest of the year. I have one super-duper healthy veggetarian friend who told me what she eats for Peshach is what she basically eats all year round. I almost fell over!

Yes and no.
I have yogurt and coffee for breakfast anyway, salad and protein for lunch on a regular basis. And I eat a lot of fruit anyway - I'd gain weight if my snacks were cake and chocolates.
Dinner isn't always meat/fish/chicken and potatoes, though.

I completely change what I eat.
During the year, I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, bean burrito and steamed veggies for lunch, and veggie burger or deli sandwich and pea soup for dinner.

I eat a lot of grains and legumes. My diet will completely change. I also have to taste everything that I make, even cakes, because I like to check the quality. I never eat sugar regulary, but just from the tasting here and there, I feel completely nauseous. And I'm sure I gained a nice amount of weight already.
