Ok so this is backwards from the usual "what do I get my dh" threads.
My dh asked me to compile a list of gifts I would appreciate (like 5-10 options) so that he can pick from them to make sure I will appreciate/like it.
great idea in theory, but I DUNNO!!
I dont need anything, nor is there anything I feel I could use. Other then jewelry (not nec expensive stuff) and chocolate what can I write? I am usually of the "happy with my lot" camp and dont see things and think oh I need/want that.
so any ideas and then I can see which ones "speak" to me and give him a list?
TY

I don't know what his budget is. These are my ideas (mostly low priced):
-A few hrs. of cleaning help if you don't usually have it
-perfume
-a scarf or a cute accessory, if he knows your taste
-if you don't get your shaitel done often, take your shaitel to your macher and pick it up
-a new tichel(s)
-a fully bought Shabbos and e/t that can't be bought he makes
- do dishes for a week (this was my afikomen present one yr.)
-take the kids out one Sunday afternoon and let you have a rest/shop
-something that you could use but wouldn't get yourself: a nice vase, a nice new table cloth, a nursing pillow...
-a night out in a restaurant and he arranges the babysitter
-he changes all the dirty diapers for a weekend (Shabbos-Sunday) or a different chore you don't like

What would you enjoy? Does it have to be presents he can buy?
My mother was scandalized when I requested DH buy me a cozy, fuzzy robe for my first birthday while married instead of a piece of jewelry. But I enjoyed putting on that robe every morning way more than I would have enjoyed any jewelry.
Spa day
Nice dinner out with DH
Pretty stationary
Sponsoring a girls night out with your friends
Really comfy slippers
Perfume
Something decorative for your home
Article of clothing or accessory that you didn't want to splurge on for yourself
Or some more intangible presents that give you a chance to relax:
Cooking dinner one night (cleanup included)
Taking over bedtime while you go on a walk or take a bath
Taking over laundry for a day/week
Taking over whatever domestic chore you find most onerous
Letting you sleep in one morning

Books. I would never run out of requests.
It was the only successful gift my dh ever bought me. Wait, come to think of it, it was the only gift my dh ever bought for me.
I made it very easy for him.

Wow! We like the same things!
To the OP: It is so thoughtful of your Husband to ask. He is making his life easier too and not running the risk of disappointing you. Good for both of you!

my husband also asked me to make him a list!
the list definitely helps him think of gifts for me. I also show him exact items that I like....and say something "like this".....it took me a long time to make a list! I dont like asking for things, but he begged me and im really happy I did. its a win/win he feels good knowing he got me a nice gift and I actually enjoy it!
just a few items on my gift idea list!
cute pj set, wallet, slippers, cozy socks, scarf/tichel, hat, gloves, makeup bag, purse.

thanks everyone.
I got a couple ideas from here, but not to many, some because my DH is great and does alot of things mentioned here already, and others because I already have them (how many pj, makeup bags, robes and scarfs do I need already?)
but there were a few ideas so thanks so much for those!
