I'd like some clarification as I'm not sure if I'm being overly strict or not.
When it comes to non-Mevushal wine I know it can't be opened, poured, moved or served by a non-Jew (or a non-observant Jew).
I was taught that if a non-mevushal bottle was open in front of non-Jews than the bottle is no good (and that's why we keep them covered in a bag.) Is this "just" a stringency or is this halacha?

I was taught that you shouldn't be drinking wine with anyone not jewish or not frum.

I was taught that as long as the non-jew doesn't use the wine for avoda zora, you're fine. So just watch him closely.
