Is there a rule for how long to cook a minute roast per lb? Usually I cook my roasts in a pot on the stove top. I like to cook it so that it is underdone then cool and slice. Either I freeze it then. Either way if I serve it hot then it finishes cooking as it reheats.
Do you friends out there find that it's better to bake a minute roast?
My biggest problem is knowing when it's done.

I usually cook it 20-25 mins per pound, on 325.
ive never tried it in a pot. I cook it until the meat temp is 145 and then I leave it in the oven while its cooling off so it cooks a little more. then I reheat it in water friday night, and it cooks a drop more, and then I slice it when I take it out. its usually rare.
