I'd like to see a terrorist try to take over a place in the US that has open carry laws. Good luck with that in Texas! Mark my words, you'll see a lot more of those kinds of attacks in Liberal states where nobody's allowed to carry. Personally, I prefer not to be a sitting duck.

Oh, and the comment about "Next you'll say that it was a cafe and so the hostages should have slit the guy's throat with a kitchen knife." Only an idiot brings a knife to a gun fight. Everyone knows that. (Although if that was the only thing I had at hand, I'd certainly make a go of it.)
