I'm looking for a library in Boro Park. I'm a big reader, so I need a place that keeps updating their books. I looked at old posts here, but none of them specified if the library carried new books. I know there’s a place called reserve a book, but am wondering if their very expensive? Are there any other places?

Yes. Yearly membership is $15. You could take out 3 books for 3 weeks. They do have newish books, but those are rental only, $1 a week per book.
