Has anyone ever put the glass cups from the menorah into the dishwasher?
Thanks!

I haven't but I will tell you a great trick that gets them perfectly clean. Put them in a container, sprinkle dry laundry detergent and carefully put boiling water over (carefully). Leave it overnight and in the morning pretty much rinse and they will be like new.

Heres what I do and its magic:
Take all menorah glasses, put them into one of those plastic deli containers with a lid. Size of container depends on how many glasses youre soaking. Fill with ammonia, cover, and let the glasses soak for 2-3 days. Then empty ammonia and run each one under hot water. Theyre sparkling, except for the most stubborn greasy areas, and they need a little elbow grease, but very little.
For next year iyH, to prevent burnt on grease, put a drop of water in each glass, when lighting.

I put ours in the dishwasher, top rack, on individual prongs with none touching, hot cycle. They came out great!
