I need a great birthday dessert for a 17 year old girl. In the past I have ordered the typical parve cakes from our local bakery but we don't like them so much as they tend to taste like eating a spoon of margarine. I think I need to go dairy to get the YUMMM factor I'm looking for. I was thinking Magnolia Bakery on 3rd? I'm not a big bakery person so please help ... What bakery do u suggest? Any specific item you love?

I love the apple tart at delice
You can buy a small one to taste ( Wink

extra cake, why not!) then by the large one if you like.

Delice is my favorite bakery. I love their apple cake, as well as some of their other pareve cakes. Not your average pareve cakes.
