When the housekeeper makes the beds (full size), the linen looks crisp and neat. When I do it, it's so sloppy. Any tips?

Pull tight. Keep the sides symmetrical.

Ask the housekeeper to show you what she does, and then PRACTICE. Hint: It helps to first take everything but the bottom sheet off the bed.

(from teaching my kids to make beds)

If you have a blanket cover, you have to have the blanket very well inside it evenly and neatly reaching all the corners properly. The right size blanket helps.
You can actually discreetly safety pin the blanket and blanket cover together if necessary.

Don't put the blanket down too far at the foot of the bed - it will look more professional when not hanging down too much. Walk around and make sure the two sides are equally long. Center the pillows and plump them so they are not crooked or one side looking higher than the other. Replacing pillows when you can will also help when they don't give a plump look.
