My teenage dd just realized that she's lactose intolerant. She is having a hard time, since she used to live on dairy. Any easy breakfast, lunch, dinner ideas? Snacks? Thank you.

If you can afford, buy her lactosefree milk and products.
She may or not tolerate regular yoghurts (limitd), cheese, butter... I know I can.
Caveat: you may struggle to find CY lactosefree, BTDT again.

Some individuals feel relief when they use lactaid pills. Look into that.

I struggle with it too, but feel awful when I've had dairy. Are you in US? Israel? In the US there are more soy and substitute products. In Israel there are more pareve treats. She can try tuna, scramble eggs on toast, pasta with veges. The Lactaid milk never worked for me.

I use rice milk. Its taste is very similar to real milk.

Tofutti's cream cheese is very similar to real cream cheese. Earth Balance butter is also a good option for a dairy free butter, the taste is also very good!

There are lactase drops you can add to dairy foods to help digest the lactose.
