A poster mentioned a dr who said something that I find shocking. Then, another poster said that she is tempted to report that dr because of totally unverified info.
This is a tip for life. If you EVER have a reason to report someone, please do research and make sure the information is true.
In this situation, At the very least, call the dr and say "I heard you recommend x for y. Can you tell me more?" If it's true, it probably should be reported. If it's not true you will have messed up someone's life, even if he manages to prove he never said it.
