Mini deli pockets.
squares of puff pastry
deli
honey mustard
egg
dipping sauces like thousand island or sweet chili or ketchup or bbq sauce
1. spread honey mustard one side of the puff pastry
2. arrange a small amount of deli, in the center, on top of the honey mustard. I do 4 layers thick of deli and it's about 1 1/2 inches diameter pieces.
3. fold over the edges so the deli is contained inside with no open edges.
4. lightly whip the egg and spread over the top of the deli pockets.
5. bake according to packet directions (probably 350 for 15 minutes)
6. serve with favorite dipping sauces.
the dip that usually goes over best with these is a sweet sour spicy sauce like sweet chili.

My daughter will eat it on rice. I like to add it to stir fry.

Combine a jar of chili sauce and a can of cranberry sauce for a great sauce to cook meatballs in.
Or combine it with grape jelly.

You can marinade chicken chunks or fillets and either stir-fry or bake. Also good for stir-fry vegetables, tofu or noodle.
Rather unconventional but you can also add small amount of sweet chili sauce with a splash of lime juice (grated lime rinds optional) to pineapple (pref thinly sliced).
