I used to use this recipe in my ice cream molds. I think it was either from a magazine or a heimishe cookbook, because I remember there was a picture.
I need a strawberry layer, a vanilla ice cream layer, and an orange layer (can be mango or any other orange colored sorbet)
Key is that it should freeze and unmold nicely in a shaped mold.
Does anyone know this recipe?

I don't have a real recipe but I make this dessert too. I use kliens parave ice cream, mango a a and strawberry sorbet. Put the parave ice cream and strawberry sorbet in the fridge to defrost. Keep the mango sorbet out so defrost faster. Line cupcake holders/ whatever putting it into. Once the mango sorbet is a thinner consistency, put enough to cover the bottom nicely. Then put in freezer until frozen. After frozen, do the next layer of ice cream and repeat. Then add strawberry sorbet. Freeze again. Serve by turning over the ices and taking off cupcake holder paper (forgot the name sorry). It comes out in layers beautifully with red, white and yellow on the bottom. You can drizzle raspberry syrup on plats before placing down the ices, or drizzle on top.
You may want to take it out a few minutes before you serve so that the ices melt a bit and are easier to eat. Enjoy!

I made something similar last shabbod with trader Joe's ice cream and sorbet. I froze vanilla ice cream on a tray lined with parchment paper.. An hour later spread on half of it raspberry sorbet and half mango sorbet. Froze. Abt four hours later I took out and rolled jelly roll style. It was so pretty. Then I made a strawberry sauce. (Frozen strawberries and blueberries and medley of fruits juice from Ceres) I cut pieces and served on sauce. Was really pretty and tasted yum!
