I made yerushalmi kugel for Shabbos, but forgot to add in the sugar (the non-carmalized part). I didn't realize and served it and it was yuck! I have another one in the freezer, which will also be yuck (same batch). Any way to save my kugel?

what if you make more caramelized sugar - pour it atop & reheat it on a low temp so that the flavours slowly seep in or it will be like a glaze surrounding it

the kugel is already cooked. Should I experment w/ mushing it up into more carmalized sugar. I really have nothing to lose other than a dirty pot b/c it's currently really gross.

I've done that before,
I poured agave syrup on top and put it back in the oven for 20 min.
