I have had the Bosch universal for over two years and love it ...just from time to time the hook stauys stick in the long pin and I can't get it out unless I use a lot of brute force.
I already broke one pin like that but it was still under warranty and it go replaced.
Now it's happened again. I cannot just leave it in since I cannot clean everything properly and know from experience there are remnants of flour water etc stuck under the white part...also this means I can't use the mixer for anything else than kneading.
Soaking with hot soapy water did not do the trcik.
Did it happen to anyone here? Ideas?
I use the mixer at least once a week (often 2 or more) and really need to fix this!

My dough hook got stuck awhile ago and I finally got it off by locking the bowl onto the machine and then it twisted off.

My metal dough hook is stuck on my bosch as the arms of the shaft are broken. Anyone have this happen to them and managed to get theirs off?

It happened by me and others too before the machine was about to die....
If yours is only 2 years old I hope its not at that stage yet.
