Anyone know how long it usually runs for ?( starts at 7:30) trying to determine what time to to tell my babysitter.

Often done by 10:00/10:30. The wait in the garages can be long, though.

Well suprise suprise
despite there having been a massive and considerably big reduction in band size in recent years,
to the point where yes, the concert is for tzedokah, but such a small 8 piece band just did not give it that big flagship concert feel anymore
it seems like shwekey and his producer/ conductor yochi briskman insisted on their way or the highway last night
it wasnt a huge band but definatly decent sized band last night
I think this is the first time since 2003 (the hasc vintage mbd concert)
that I have seen a large string section - as at 2004 the jerusalem experience one, (at the met or madison) they had already dropped the strings
anyway I suspect next year it will be back to the tightly budgeted 8 piece band sadly - no offence to yisroel lamm though who does a wonderful job conducting with what he has
anyway enough babbling from me..
