I see a mazali wig sale advertised and I'm wondering if it pays to buy from them.

I tried reading old threads but I see mixed reviews and nothing recent.

Please share your mazali experience.

I'm looking for a good, wavy wig for just a few hundred dollars and need recommendation which to buy.

I bought a mazali last year at a sale, and I've been satisfied. I was told that I got a "good one" by my shaitel macher. I think it can be majorly hit or miss, but for that price--I'm happy. The front is a little sparse, but I guess I could put more hair in it if I really need to.

I got one about 4 years ago for $250. I still wear it (am wearing it now). It is my weekday sheitel, but I don't wear a sheitel every day.
The cap isn't super comfortable (my shabbos sheitel I can wear for hours at home), I take the Mazali off as soon as I come home, but it could be it isn't a perfect fit (my shabbos sheitel was also over 8 times the price of this one so it isn't a great comparison). I do sometimes wear it for hours at a time, but if I'm home I don't like it on.
I'm very happy with it (especially for that price). But its an easy brown, straight sheitel.
My neighbor got one in blond and said it only lasted her a year.
I don't know if it was the color or the one that I got.

I have one. It looks nice but hair gets coarse after a couple of wears. It's still looks great though! And doesn't get knotty. I use mine for shabbos I'm not sure if I would be able to wear this every day. Overall satisfied.. Good luck!

Since I got married I only purchase mazali wigs.
I have brown hair and its very affordable, I never spent more than $700 on a wig.
I just got a new mazali for pesach and I love it

OK, that's very encouraging. Smile I don't have much money to spend, and I am not too picky, but I didn't want to get something that is inferior quality...

Any other experiences?

LO- I would definitely NOT get a mazali - I have one and its really not so good at all , if you have a choice I would get a bella heard amazing things about them but I dont have one so I cant say from experience,

MrsEshter why do you only get mazali wigs do you really find them so good?
mine is stringy and ugly and not even so cheap
I got it on sale I think about $550 then spent another $150 on a cut , to get a peice of garbage!!!

Try Alexia wigs. (Look her up on Instagram- let me know if you need help finding her contact info).
Her prices range from $475-875. Mine was $695 (22"). It's soft and beautiful. Feels and looks like my hair. Super comfy.

I got a Mazali by the Pesach 2015 sale and I am very happy with it. I am a blondish/brownish color and did have to dye it once already. My other two wigs are shevy and yes there is no comparison in the hair quality but for the price I paid I am very happy with it and would buy a mazali again.

I was extremely happy with all my mazali wigs so I didnt feel the need to spend a fortune on a shevy.
