I'm working on cleaning up my diet & eating healthier.
I love to ferment my foods, & I'm being careful to stay away from processed foods.
Right now, I would love to learn how to make sourdough bread.
Does any one in the bklyn area have a starter they can give me? There are so many different versions to making sourdough. I would looove to find s/o who knows how to make the bread, if to help me.

I would love to share some starter but I don't live in Brooklyn.
The book that taught me about sourdough (and bread making in general) is "The Bread Baker's Apprentice" He has a chapter on sourdough that makes it very approachable. I made a starter using his instructions.
