My BIL is getting married in new jersey in a few weeks and my baby will then BeH be 2 months old. I've never been to America! Is NY freezing at that time of year? Is it easy to get around? What would we need in terms of strollers/carriers etc? Are there fun things we could do with an infant in tow?
And would it be crazy to fly from Israel via Russia with a 3 hour stopover?

Dress well. In NY you have great transportation with the Subway, Buses, and car services. The three hour stop over I would not be concerned with I would be more concerned with being in Russia with all that's going on there.

A snap n go stroller should do fine. Make sure you have warm snowsuit and hat for baby. Plenty to do around here and most places are stroller accessible.

it's doable ... 3 hours is not that bad ... my daughter spent 10 hours on a stop-over ... will you be traveling alone or with your husband ... also don't forget food
