When Alexander the Great's European army marched from Greece all the way to India, they left behind a lot of babies. They're part of the reason that you have blue-eyed natives of Afghanistan. But anyways, there are a lot of people in that area of the world with lighter coloring.

If you google Circassians (there's a population of them in Israel actually), Kalasha, Nuristanis, Pathans, you'll see lots of pictures.
