What is the etiquette? I got a new job working for a frum person who took a small risk hiring me and pays me bh well. I normally am the type to get work and home pretty separate. What do you all think?

I'm more inclined to say no, especially if you're a recent hire, and if the office has non-Jewish or non-frum staff. Sending your direct boss who hired you a gift simply sounds too much like brown nosing, and doesn't strike as something professional. If you really want to show your appreciation, is there a way to send her/him MM to her/his home instead? Alternatively, bring a tray of pastry to be shared at the office.

I'd say it depends on what everyone else is doing.
My DH works for a frum guy and everyone gives the boss M'M. My DH gives him a nicer one. We deliver it to his home on Purim day.

I would not send a mm in that situation.
